This summer, Youth Democracy Institute is sending up to 60 students entering grades 5–8 to
America 250 Summer Civics Camp—free of charge.

Students will explore Washington, DC, develop leadership skills, participate in community service, and engage in hands-on civic learning experiences as America celebrates its 250th anniversary.

We believe every young person should have access to transformative leadership opportunities regardless of their family's ability to pay. That's why we're raising $2,500 to keep the program free and accessible to all participants.
