Civics Fair Project Prep Sessions

Get Ready for the Civics Fair!

Join YDI's free Civics Fair Project Labs to develop your civic action idea, connect with other student leaders, and prepare for the November 3 Youth Democracy Summit & Civics Fair. Our Project Labs provide project development, mentorship, presentation coaching, and practice. Students may work individually or in teams.

Students from all participating high schools are welcome. Participation is FREE.

Two Ways to Compete

Civic Pitch Competition: Have an idea to solve a community problem? Develop your solution and deliver a 60–90-second pitch. You don't need to have launched your project.

Project Trifold Competition: Already working on a community service or civic action project? Showcase your work, actions taken, and impact through a trifold display and a 60–90-second presentation.

Select the sessions you'd like to attend using the RSVP form. You don't need to attend every session, but we recommend at least two sessions to support project development and rehearsal.
