Summer Camp Week 4: Coalition Building

Description
Students explore how communities work together to create change through collaboration, constructive dialogue, and shared leadership. Through interactive civic experiences across Washington, DC and Arlington, participants learn how to build coalitions, find common ground, and work across differences to advance shared goals. PROGRAM LOGISTICS - Program Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM -Pick Up/Drop Off: Arlington Central Library Parking Lot (Virginia Square Metro area) - Students will travel together by Metro and public transportation with YDI staff supervision throughout the week. - Students should bring a backpack, refillable water bottle, packed lunch or spending money for lunch, and comfortable walking shoes each day. - Metro transportation costs are included in the program fee. - Please note that all bags and personal items are subject to security screening at federal buildings and museums.
