Description

The Cultural Leadership Academy is a three-day immersive experience designed for students ages 10-13 from diverse backgrounds to explore the intersections of history, identity, and civic leadership. Through a dynamic leadership workshop, guided visits to the National Museum of African American History and Culture and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, and a culminating youth-led community showcase, participants engage deeply with the parallel narratives of Black and Jewish struggles for human rights. By reflecting on these legacies of resilience and resistance, students cultivate empathy, sharpen their leadership skills, and envision how courage and cross-cultural solidarity can advance a more just and inclusive future.
