Join Youth Democracy Institute for a special documentary screening highlighting the true story of five Howard University students whose leadership helped change history. The evening features a screening of Ain’t No Back to a Merry-Go-Round, followed by a post-film conversation with the filmmaker Ilana Trachtman and past and present student activists exploring youth power, collective action, and the lasting legacy of student leadership.

This documentary screening concludes Youth Democracy Institute’s Leadership & Legacy Series, which explores youth leadership across generations—from middle school and high school leadership labs to college and community learning experiences. Proceeds from this event benefit the Youth Democracy Institute Policy Academy’s inaugural Howard University cohort.
